About the Brand

Montville Coffee is a Sunshine Coast specialty roaster founded by Karen and Richard Barnett around a commitment to make excellent coffee inseparable from fair relationships and environmental care. From 2001, the pair worked with an early green-bean partner to bring Fairtrade-certified coffees from Papua New Guinea and East Timor into Australia, then built their first local espresso blend for cafés around the Blackall Range. Its real point of difference is independently verified impact throughout the cup: the roastery buys only certified Fairtrade and Organic coffee and adds B Corp accountability, traceable sourcing and lower-impact retail and café packaging.
