About Natural Evolution

Natural Evolution is an Australian-grown, owned and made family business created by second-generation North Queensland banana farmers Rob and Krista Watkins. The idea began in 2010 when Rob noticed flour-like dust after accidentally driving over green Lady Finger bananas, revealing a potential use for nutritious fruit rejected by supermarket appearance standards. Its defining difference is farm-born invention: Rob developed specialised peeling and processing machinery, and the family built the world's first pharmaceutical-grade banana-flour facility to turn an agricultural waste problem into gluten-free flour and resistant-starch products.
