About the Brand
Olsson's is Australia's oldest family-owned sea-salt maker, with family roots reaching to Swedish immigrant Olaus Olsson's first Parramatta grocery store in 1888 and a formal salt business established by later generations in 1948. The family moved from ice delivery and livestock nutrition into salt works in South Australia and Queensland, building large solar-evaporation operations designed around Australia's clean coastal waters and abundant sun.
