Being a soap-bar means you only need a small amount to work up a luscious lather. It washes away a multitude of unwanted aromas and nasties stuck in their skin. And, it’s safe, non-toxic and can relieve itching and irritations. 

Dogs, and other pets, are often sensitive to chemicals in dog washing products. Many commercial dog soaps and shampoos contain harsh toxic substances, preservatives and artificial fragrances. These can cause more harm than good on your dog’s skin. 

The solid dog shampoo uses rice bran oil as a healthier alternative. Eucalyptus and peppermint oils are used as antiseptic and anti-inflammatory with coconut and castor oils making it deeply moisturising.

A dash of lavender oil adds a wonderful calming scent.

Is dog soap easy to use?

Using our Solid Dog Shampoo is super easy. Rub a small amount of the dog soap into your hands with water to work up a lather and apply all over your dog’s wet coat. Rinse. Repeat. 

As a shampoo bar with plenty of moisturising oils, you’ll only need a smattering to go a long way.  

Because it’s solid dog shampoo, it’s not watered down. It’s concentrated – better for the environment – better for your wallet – better for your dog.

Do I need a conditioner?

Nope. No conditioner needed. The rich plant oils in our dog soap are enough to condition your dog’s coat leaving their fur soft, healthy and clean.

Will it be gentle on my dog’s skin?

Absolutely! We leave out any artificial ingredients or harmful chemicals to make sure it’s gentle. No detergents, no sulphates and no parabens – just pure, natural Australian oils.

How should I store my dog soap to get the best out of it?

We recommend keeping your dog soap out of water as much as possible. 

Our soaps are rich in plant oils which react to water. Oils give the soap superb cleaning properties. If the soap is left in water or a steamy shower area, it’ll be used up more quickly. 

Do you have more than one buying option?

Our all-natural, Australian-made Solid Dog Shampoo is not a product we offer in bulk. This bar lasts a long time. Buying more than one each time probably isn’t necessary. Unless you want extras for gifts or you have more than one pooch to pamper.  

One hand-measured 100gm bar can last up to six months, making it a perfect money-saving option. 

Of course, you’re welcome to buy as many as you need. 

Hot Tip:

Dogs have a natural pH balance between 6.2 and 7.4, while human skin has a pH balance of approximately 5.5. 

You’d be barking up the wrong tree if you think you could use commercial human soap on your dog. It might seem paw-sible but it can disrupt their natural skin balance.

Disrupting their skin balance means they can become more susceptible to viruses, parasites, and bacteria causing irritations. It’ll drive them barking mad.

Instead try using our solid, natural dog shampoo bar. It’ll help protect your dog’s skin and keep you from taking unnecessary trips to the vet.
