About the Brand

Native Vanilla grew from its founder's childhood connection to a remote community on Papua New Guinea's Karawari River, where his family lived in 1981 and was welcomed into village life. Returning in 2014, he found friends growing vanilla but facing unreliable buyers, uncertain scales, long transport routes and little power over the price of their crop; he sold his fintech business to build a more direct route from growers to market. Its real point of difference is a supply chain designed around empowerment rather than charity, combining direct community relationships and fairer purchasing with advanced extraction and manufacturing that preserves authentic origin flavour. Native Vanilla promises high-quality beans, extracts and pastes with greater transparency from farm to kitchen, aiming to reward growers more fairly while giving bakers and food makers consistent, traceable vanilla.
