Byron Bay Cookie Company began in 1990 in a small farmhouse in the Byron Bay hinterland, where an old family recipe and local ingredients such as macadamias became cookies for nearby markets. Originally sold as ‘Pickles, Pies & Petticoats’, they became known simply as the cookies from Byron and gradually moved from market stalls into cafe jars across Australia.
