Coconut & hazelnut bars
I made them with choc hazelnut spread and cacao hazelnut plant based protein from Botanika Blends. The vanilla cake batter and cacao hazelnut are on high rotation at my place 👌🏼 I love the flavour of the hazelnut it’s so delicious 🤤🤤
Here’s the recipe for the bars ⬇️
Makes 8
Base:
100g coconut flour
20g Botanika blends choc hazelnut
20g maple syrup
20g coconut oil
70g soy milk
Top:
110g chocolate hazelnut spread
Handful salted peanuts + shredded coconut
- In a blender combine the base ingredients and press into loaf pan or tray lined with baking paper. Pack it down with the base of a heavy glass
- Top with choc hazelnut spread which is easier to do if you melt it a little in the microwave and pour on to the base layer.
- Sprinkle with chopped salted peanuts and coconut shreds. Set in the freezer for 1 hour, slice into bars and store in a container in the fridge.
