A Jammy Twist on a Classic ANZAC

A Jammy Twist on a Classic ANZAC

Thought our new biscuits were tasty? Wait until you try this fun, jam-filled take on the traditional ANZAC biscuit. Buttery, golden, and filled with your favourite jam — they’re nostalgic, delicious, and just the right amount of gooey in the centre.

Here’s how to make them:

INGREDIENTS:

  • ANZAC Biscuit Pre-Mix

  • 100g golden syrup

  • 125g butter or 80g Nuttlex

  • 1 Tbsp water

  • Jam of your choice

METHOD:

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C and line 2–3 trays with baking paper.

  2. Pour the ANZAC pre-mix into a large mixing bowl.

  3. In a saucepan over medium heat (or microwave for 2 mins), melt butter, golden syrup and water together until smooth.

  4. Add the wet mix to the dry ingredients and stir until fully combined. Dough should hold when rolled into a ball — if it’s too dry, add water 1 tsp at a time.

  5. Roll tablespoon-sized balls and place on trays about 5cm apart.

  6. Press a small well into the centre of each ball and spoon in a little jam.

  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes for chewy cookies, or 17–20 minutes if you prefer them crunchy.

Get ready for sticky fingers and happy smiles 😍
