Reishi Mushroom, Rose & Lavender Latte Recipe

This uber relaxing tonic features some of our favourite botanicals and is perfect for anyone wanting to soothe the nervous system when feeling frazzled, over tired, needing to unwind, having trouble sleeping or suffering from a broken heart.

Lavender and Rose are beautiful calming botanicals that can aid with sleep and are deeply relaxing. Reishi is one of our favourite fungi, not only does it have a broad range of adaptogenic properties that can improve immunity, the liver and more but it’s also a great tonic to calm the nervous system and sooth the spirit (Shen). To make the sleep enhancing effects stronger add Valerian tea.

Steep the Lavender (sub valerian if needed) and Rose in 1/3 of a cup of hot water for 10 minutes. Strain water to remove the leaves and pour into a saucepan with the coconut milk and gently heat. Once warmed blend with Evolution Botanicals Organic Reishi Extract, vanilla and then drink. Take one hour before sleep or as needed.
